At Isthmus Acupuncture Center, LLC (IAC) we provide a variety of holistic and complementary treatments clinically proven to promote healing and well-being. Our services include acupuncture and Chinese herbs, Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy ™, therapeutic massage, nutritional support, and Reiki.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is the oldest continually practiced healthcare system in the world. TCM healing modalities are comprised of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and Tui Na (Chinese medical massage). TCM is used by 25% of the world’s population and has been the primary form of medicine used in many Asian countries. Massage therapists and acupuncturists at IAC are trained in Traditional Chinese Medical theory.

TCM does not diagnose disease. Rather, it uses holistic “pattern identification” to find the root cause of health problems. Treatments are designed to alleviate symptoms, restore health, and encourage the body to heal itself. The body, mind, and spirit are evaluated and treated together. Diet, exercise, and lifestyle are assessed and recommendations are made to support treatments.
